Declining American national cohesion concerns me. I see national cohesion as key to an effective government and society. I see education and discourse about American political ideals as the solution to help remind Americans that we are part of a cohesive country. I founded the July 4th Project to promote just that. The American political tradition is open to interpretation, and analyzing it is key to becoming a part of it.
